Elven	English	Definition
a	Creator	Deity like status of creation origin, higher being.
abrar	Crafter	Typically a person who makes things.
ae	Whisper	To be quiet, to whisper.
ael	Great	Very capable of something, grand in some way.
Ael	Knight	Typically used by the island elves to denote someone who is a warrior, protector, someone who takes on quests for the Elven people.
Aeltakl	Sword, Short	Commonly refers to defensive blade, used in off hand. Often a small crescent blade.
Aer	Order	The Great Weaver, stability, sometimes known as an eight sided shape, or a spider.
aer	Singer	Male or female skilled singer, gifted, or unique.
aera	Singers	The group singing, or spoken about.
aethas	Drum	Any of an assortment of percussion instruments.
aethus	Harp	Any of an assortment of stringed instruments.

Af	Ring, a	A circle, a ring, often said to be w/in the Circle or W/out.
afel	Lake, small	Possile for an elf to swim across it.

ahal	Weak	Weakness in something, be it strength, scent, magick, health, etc.

aia	Husband	Someone they live with, share children with, love,etc.

aias	Mate	Someone they live with, share children with, love,etc.
aira	Camp	A place to stay for an evening or two.
aith	Home	Typically a place where one will spend several seasons living.
al	Harmony	They are often connected with the circle.
Al	Sea	A very large body of water. Water that must be crossed by a craft. Sometimes used to refer to any huge expanse that must be traveled.
ala	Harmony, not in	Disconneted, not of the Pale, but not acting to their best interests.
ali	Shadow	A persons shadow, or darker side of personality.
am	Strider	A steed rider, usually a warrior
Am	Swan	Awakening the true beauty and power of the self. An ancient totem, empathy, symbol of rare or nonexistent, sun symbol. Better able to stand the cold. A link between the Umbra, teacher of songs and poetry.
Ama	Beautiful	Of great appearance in iether physical, spiritual, or mental ways.

avel	Sword	A weapon used often by humans, though it can also mean a bladed weapon used by someone.
avin	Esseance Storm	Powerful magickal eruption,caused by an inbalance in the Circle of Life

Caelinal	Archer Tree	These are trees, which are often used by the elves to make excellent bows and sometimes arrows. It is a strong yet subtle wood, which seems to help add distance to elven missile range.
Cael	Archer	One who has taken up the Path of the Archer, live as they shoot. Arcane Archer, Deepwood Sniper.
Cal	Faith	Belief in the Circle, typically in somethiing greater then themselves.
Cas	Herald	Messenger, often given free reign to travel through various territories with out drawing attacks.
Cla	Rose	A flower of great beauty but also are a source of magick, a flowering plant with various powers.
Cor	Legend	A story of something or someone famous for their deeds.

Cy	Onyx	A hard sharp rock black in colour with specks. Used against were creatures.

elis	Wind, gust of	A slight breeze, enough to carry a scent but not very far.
ellon	Chieftess	Control of a small clan, commonly a single family.
emar	Honour	To posses it, demonstrate it, and up hold it.
en	Autumn	Season after the growing, when things begin to change.
Er	Boar	An animal fed upon, omnivore, often called pig, they often have dangerous tusks.

Ev	Stag	Fast moving animal, herbivour, usually quite wild though sometimes riden by elves.

evar	Instrument	An assortment of carved, and fashioned items that use air to make music.
ezara	Esseance Lightning	Powerful bolts of mystic power usually emited by storms.

Gil	Griffin	Winged hunting carnivores, very dangerous like griffin, and manticores.
Ha	Free	Freedom attributed to ones life and actions.
hal	Pale	A toning down of a colour, or palor of an item or individual.
har	Wisdom	In making decisions and preforming actions.
hel	Sad	To be sad or to make sad, generally to experience sadness

in	Sibling	A general name for all elves.
inar	Sister	A female who is very close to you, like a sister, but not limited to that.
inare	Sight, far	Something with in visual range but out of bow range.
ine	Brother	A male who is very close to you, like a sister, but not limited to that.
ir	Dusk	When the sun touches the horizon, but is still above it.
ira	Dusk	When the sun has gone below the horizon.
ire	Dusk	When the sun has gone down and stars are clearly visible.
is	Scroll	An object bearing an inscription, often magickal in nature.
isal	Bees	Small flying insects, often possessing a venom, and other abilities.
isar	True Seeker	A person with a pure heart looking for something.
isel	Mountain, old	These are very long term mountains, smoothed and weathered.
iss	Scribe	A person who works with written material, creating and copying it.
ist	Writing	The act of writing to create a document.
itae	lover	Not infatuation but true love.
itas	Ward	An area magicked in some way to prevent passage of something.
ith	Child	An individual before their first kill, before their first sexual union, etc.
